Design And Consulting

CONCEPT ENGINEERING

The goal for any project should be, to find solutions satisfying the basic functional requirements at the lowest life cycle cost. By connecting with CPP at the early stage of project there will be many chances to increase overall cost efficiency and system performance can be enhanced.

With our extensive and professional experience of setting up pharmaceutical facilities, CPP will help people in conceptualizing their dream project in an efficient way.

Apart from our experience from previous work, we have some resources with us like our constant interaction with International Consultants and Regulatory Authorities in addition to various Industrial Associations. The typical approach will be to first gather functional requirements of the proposed facility which includes production process together with the required level of automation, dosage forms, batch sizes, containment needs, type of equipment and machinery etc.

Based on the above data CPP will develop:

  • Designing preliminary layouts for facilities
  • Ensure Process Equipment size and outline basic specifications
  • Define Environmental classification and Pressure Differential
  • Water treatment system establishment
  • Civil work details
  • Budgetary Project Cost (Tentative)
  • Project Timelines (Tentative)

CPP’s objective is to recommend the most cost-effective solution without compromising regulatory norms and customer expectations.

BASIC ENGINEERING

CPP can help to develop basic engineering designs customized as per clients functional and location requirements and recommend the most cost-effective solutions without compromising regulatory requirements.

Basic engineering will help to develop the followings:

  • Alternative plant layouts meeting GMP requirements
  • Conceptual design of HVAC and Pressure Differential system with proposed Air Flow Diagram
  • Men/material flow drawings on the approved layout
  • Conceptual design paper on water treatment, purification, filtration and distribution of various utility systems like Water, Steam, Compressed Air, Gases, Solvents, etc.
  • Design P&IDs for Process and Utilities
  • Estimate Electric Power requirements for the plant
  • Conceptual design for ETP
DETAILED ENGINEERING

Detailed Engineering is the essential bridge between the basic engineering and construction phase of a project.

Efficient detailed engineering plays a vital role for having a control on the cost of the project and faster commissioning, validation and completion of project on time.

Detailed Engineering involves close coordination and synchronization among various disciplines of engineering, in an interactive and progressive manner. Our detailed engineering helps the end user to set up a GMP compliant facility in the least possible time and at the minimum cost.

CPP provides detailed engineering services for the following disciplines

  • Civil and Structural Engineering
  • Architectural
  • Process Engineering for selection of the appropriate equipment
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Piping Engineering
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical Engineering
  • HVAC
  • Instrumentation
  • Effluent Treatment System Design
  • Laboratory Furniture Design and selection
PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT

CPP with its extensive work experience and professional connection with many vendors, can suggest the best equipment, machinery and system with quality at a minimum cost.

CPP will assist you in:

  • Preparing tender documents for supply, installation and qualification of various systems like HVAC, Water treatment and distribution, Electrical, Steam generation and distribution etc.
  • Techno-commercial evaluation of the bids and recommend the best alternative vendor.
  • Preparation of detailed specifications and data sheets for various equipment, machinery and system
  • Checking & approval of vendor drawings
  • Expediting with vendors for timely supply of all machinery and equipment
PROJECT MANAGEMENT

CPP with its vast experience of executing several projects can take up Project Management activity.

The Project management service will include

  • Developing mutually agreed procedure defining formal line of communication between Client and Consultant
  • Prepare project schedule to monitor progress of Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities
  • Prepare schedule of work / bar chart based on the nature of work
  • Conduct periodic co-ordination meetings with Client to review actual progress of work as against planned work schedule.
  • Provide tentative cost estimation during detailed engineering
  • Maintain document control to ensure use of right document at site
